PH Navy frigate Jose Rizal arrives in Guam from RIMPAC in Hawaii
https://www.facebook.com/navyspeak/posts/3617226311623188GUAM, USA – The Philippine Navy (PN) frigate BRP Jose Rizal (FF150), carrying the Naval Task Group (NTG) 80.5, arrived at the Romeo 1 Pier of Naval Base Guam here today, September 16, from its successful participation in the world's largest joint and combined naval exercise, Rim of the Pacific Exercise (RIMPAC) 2020 in Hawaii.
NTG 80.5 commander and FF150 skipper, Capt. Jerry Garrido Jr said that this layover is "intended for refueling, re-provisioning, and other health and bio-safety protocols for us to check the well-being of the 125 sailors and aviators aboard FF150 amid the COVID-19 pandemic." The PN RIMPAC contingent will depart Guam on September 18 and is expected to arrive in the country on September 22, 2020.
