Bionix AFV

Inspired by the "Fire Support Vehicle options for the AFP" thread...

The Bionix series of armored fighting vehicles was designed and built in Singapore to fulfill the need to replace their older M113 APCs. The platform's family of vehicles includes an autocannon-armed IFV, a machine gun/grenade launcher armed APC, an armored recovery vehicle, a bridge layer, and a counter-mine vehicle. A tank variant was proposed, but ultimately rejected in favour of acquiring Leopard 2 MBTs.

Bionix II IFV, circa 2008.

Curiously, the current ST Engineering website doesn't have any entry on the Bionix platform.

Haven't been back on the site for long due to RL stuff (mainly looking for jobs/places to relocate to in the future).

But I was told by someone from Singapore via FB that ST Kinetics is going to replace this and is no longer considering to market it to potential foreign buyers except on request.
