Other things at the top of my head:

-automation and mechnaization of GA factory lines
-laser engravement of bullet casings
-better packaging of bullets when transported
-increase in bullet manufacture - filling AFP requirements
-small arms refurbushment/recovery for M16 and pistols
-agreement for manufacture of M4 type rifle
-agreement for manufacture of FPEs

Sir MBLT6 under the DND-GA, IMO, will be remembered as the person that has given us hope and initiated the first steps in SRDP

From this link:

Philippines to receive US Cessna aircraft with ISR capability

The six aircraft are fitted with the L3 WESCAM MX-15 high-definition imagining and electro-optical/infrared sensor for airborne full-motion video surveillance in a central housing. The sensor is integrated with an on-board airborne operator sensor console and will also have Harris ultrahigh/very-high frequency and high frequency radios for air-to ground and air-to air communications.

Site for specs of the MX-15

How about PT Dirgantara and Airbus, why were they DQ'ed?

^yep, but it is also quite interesting to know that we are getting the G variant, since this version has a bigger warhead and upgraded guiding system.

Based from some reports, it looks like these are AGM-65Gs...

Just to confirm, aren't the Light Reaction Regiment heavily trained for urban warfare? It may not be as simple as how the reporter would like to portray the issue to be. The Zamboanga seige was handled accordingly, but Maute is a different animal, and Marawi is their hometown.

^to add, there was a clear front during the MILF seige, while the Marawi one has a lot of urban warfare involved. This makes it difficult to define the front lines and makes the Armed Forces prone to sniper fire and ambushes - where a lot of the sudden increase of KIA from AFP were being reported. The AFP spokesperson on multiple occasions even stated that the insurgents were "fluid", kept walking around.

^true that. And the PNP-SAF APC incident is kind of reflective of how they train their personnel (or lack thereof). Even if your people are panicking, basic instict kicks in and training plays its role. The "un-neutered" 50cal they left showed they did not go to their training and just went on survival mode. Unless there are other unclear parameters that were not mentioned.

Is this in response to the PNP mishap with their APC? Parang may pataama yung dating ng post. If so, is this reflective of the rift between AFP and PNP?

#22 helicopter is clearly for photo op.

However, Sir A's photo showing #15 or "815" chopper doesn't have the FLIR underneath it. That photo somehow addressed Sir Manoks / Gemini's concerns.

So what happened to that FLIR? :o

#815 has a FLIR on that picture. It's not just on the same position as the Naval variant. The brown ones have their FLIR at the back side of the belly. You'll just notice a black ball peeking from the last picture above.

You guys should try visiting skyscraper forums. Aside from mega fanbois, the mixed race of fanboi and armchair generals are flying everywhere. Reason is not a valid point there.

Political - a lot of right leaning populist candidates/government officials with very radical ideologies are gaining massive support left and right... US, UK, PH, France, Turkey, etc. Very scared of where the world would be in just 5 years.
