Why the big yellow "36" and what appears to be a yellow warning sign on the side of the Oto Melara Turret?

That sure makes spotting the JCPVs from the air fairly easy. Low Viz paint scheme notwithstanding.

Do the other Classes have the same?

While EDCA is constitutional and legal, the President of the Philippines can initiate the termination of the agreement.

And, the US should bear notice that it should start treating the Philippines as a co-equal partner and ally. While we have Major Non NATO Ally status, this has not translated into more substantial, modern equipment and its subsequent training regimen.

And please, let's stop raising and waving the "You gotta spend - you gotta show blah-blah" again.

I have several words I can wave right back. Pakistan being one.

While the Acquisition process admittedly needs revamping and institutionalized once the process improvements are in place, that has never stopped the US from enacting the numerous "PEACE" Programs with other allies.

His supposed unhappiness with the US, Europe is reported to be their criticism of his war on drugs.

I guess the question is, why should he care or take this as a personal slight? I mean, the West will always take this position (e.g human rights). Most of the South East nations get some form of lecture on this subject regularly. It's just business as usual. We can't change them, and their opinions can change us.

So why is your President so work up for? It feels so juvenile, like a kid getting jilted of affection from a mother.

It's a trait shared and displayed by a lot of filipinos from his generation.

He is ranting already. I agree with you and have been asking the same question, being a voter who pencilled him in for President.

Adroth,

I hear what you're saying, sharing a lot of the points you made and questions you raised.

But, we also have to consider this: IS DUTERTE FINALLY SHOWING THAT HE IS UNQUALIFIED TO BE PRESIDENT?

There are a lot of talking points regarding this question I raised. As I have to rush on a B.O.Q I have to finish by afternoon tomorrow, I'll leave let those in the forum chew on the above statement.

I'll be back.

On August 5, in a speech at Camp Lapu-Lapu in Cebu, Duterte reportedly mentioned that he was also in favor of buying weapons from Israel (see last paragraph here).

That being said, IIRC, Israeli weapons haven't been cleared for use with the FA-50 yet.

That being said, how much influence would the US have over any putative Israeli Arms deal or to be specific, modifications to the FA-50PH?

Finally in, after authentication issues.

The repository is gone.

But we can start fresh, and I agree with A that here we can improve the posting culture.
