H.E. Huang Xilian, Chinese Ambassador-designate to the Philippines, presents credentials to President Duterte

Ambassador Huang emphasized that under the strategic leadership of the heads of states of the two countries, China-Philippines relations has opened a new chapter and continue to flourish, generating more and more tangible benefits to the people of both countries.
Ambassador Huang said, next year is the 45th anniversary of the establishment of China-Philippines diplomatic relations. It is a great honor to serve as the Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines at this important historical juncture. He said he would make every effort to implement the consensus of the leaders of the two countries, promote the synergy of the "Belt and Road" initiative and the "Build, Build, Build" program, continue to expand pragmatic cooperation in all fields between China and the Philippines, and ensure the healthy and stable development of China-Philippines comprehensive strategic cooperation relations.
President Duterte said, "We are proud that China and the Philippines are two great friends. And I welcome you to your new assignment. May it be productive."
President Duterte also said that he was satisfied with the development of Philippines-China relations, and hoped that China would continue to support "build, build, build" plan, increase investment in the Philippines and support the socio-economic development of the Philippines. President Duterte wishes the continued blossom of the Philippines-China relations in the years ahead.
Before presenting the credentials, Ambassador Huang visited Rizal Park to lay a wreath to the Rizal Monument and inspected the guard of honor at the Malacañan Palace.
