I've been a Timawa member since 2009.  I miss the oldtime members in Timawa i.e. horge, sbhnter, Anak_ni_sarge, pearl21, Failure Analysis, Gen. Martir (i forgot his Timawa name) as well as the other old farts and their "fencing matches" which were equally entertaining and educational.

Timawa has sparked my interest in anything related to military/defense. And most importantly has taught me the importance of verifying any piece of information before sharing it to others.

Hi all,

I'm a merchant marine officer, currently living in Iloilo City. I have been a member of the old forum before, but am unable to recover my old account. I have a friend in SOCOM and another still studying in the Pahinga Muna Anak school in Baguio, and both are lurkers here too(if not too busy). I'm interested in defense related topics, and I hope I could learn more from the old timers here.

Hi Everyone,

Nice see old names. Been a member of timawa since 2009. A resident of Navotas, was once a reservist, a martial arts enthusiast, book lover and wicca practitioner. I enjoy reading threads with relations to history and defense equipment. And the old forum have been my place to fact check against people who spread hoax in the net.

Learned a lot from the old forum and I hope this new one will last longer.
