The SARO did not identify the specific model selected. But in the recent past, the PAF acquired the W-3 Sokol and Bell 412 for its CUH requirements.

considering that W-3 Sokol is an unloved child, will it be safe to conclude that we are going for Bell 412?  ::)

Atty Elefante and three Air Force officers were in Canada a month ago to inspect the facility of Bell..

my bet is Bell 412 same model as previously delivered..

That would be a reasonable assumption.  :)

Just the same, just putting this here

While collecting data for the KUH-1 Surion thread (see here), I put together publicly available information about existing PAF helicopters that it would be competing against.

Both the W-3 Sokol and Bell 412 had readily available spec sheets. So these were assembled first. The resulting data is . . . interesting food for thought. See below.
