Two people who have access to ALL the relevant facts, and even have the same cranial capacity, can still at look at the same problem come up with completely opposite conclusions. That is why open, honest, debate is very important. By watching these two equally matched protagonists, we formulate our own conclusions based on our own experiences. The more vigorous debate, the better the learning -- provided we do not engage in logical fallacies.
Often we run into community members who don't want to be bothered by the facts, and contribute nothing to the conversation other than noise. With a Facebook group this large, that is just par for the course, and the mod team puts up with it. However, one particular individual fits all of the above buckets and goes even further -- bad mouths the community at venues where it cannot defend itself. Free-expression is essential for a republic like ours, and I -- for one -- will defend your right to express your views as you see fit (within reason of course. For example, freedom of expression doesn't give you the right to yell "fire" in a crowded theater for fun). That freedom of expression, however, goes both ways.
