Medical equipment were transported from Cotabato to Jolo Airport on August 3, 2017 to supply Camp General Teodulfo Station Hospital based in Jolo, Sulu led by the Department of Health and the Philippine Air Force 220th Airlift Wing utilizing the C-130 Aircraft.

The flight mission is in accordance to the directive of the President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to provide additional equipment to selected military hospitals which will surely give equitable and accessible healthcare for our soldiers.

Donated by the Cotabato Regional Medical Center (CRMC), the medical supplies delivered includes the following: Mechanical Ventilators, Anesthesia Machines, Patient Monitors, Monitors with Capnograph, Hospital Beds and Oxygen Tanks.

Moreover, forging ties with the Department of Health through this activity is a big opportunity and a welcome development for our AFP. It will definitely, boost the high spirits of our personnel especially those who are wounded during military operations. Soon, our soldiers all over the country, especially those who are in the embattled areas, need not to travel to other bigger military hospitals should they contract illnesses or get wounded in action.

This sortie will be the first among the many of more airlift sorties. The 220th Airlift Wing will continue to be ready to provide our quality airlift services only to ensure that these valuable equipment will reach all our military hospitals as quickly as possible.
