South Korea sold the Philippines 12 units of Schoolboy / Sea Hawk class patrol boats for US$1.00 each in May 1993. These became the Conrado Yap class in Philippine Navy service. Eight were commissioned in June 23, 1993, and another two were commissioned on June 23, 1994. The remaining two were never commissioned were presumably used as cannibalization spares.
