Based on photo comparisons, BRP Agta (LC 290) is ex-HMAS Balikpapan L-126.  Forward hawsehole (mooring rope hole) is lower compared to the one abaft it.
Obsolete weapons do not deter. You do not base a defence policy on someone else's good intentions.

The Philippine Navy (PN), through the Naval Reserve Command and Fleet-Marine Ready Force, simultaneously held the Exercise Pagsasama 2016 and Exercise “Pagsisikap 2016” from Nov. 14-18 at Naval Base Heracleo Alano, Marine Barracks Gregorio Lim, Ternate, Cavite and in the vicinity of Manila Bay involving more or less 350 PN personnel. Exercise “Pagsasama” is a maritime exercise that aims to enhance the interoperability of the Philippine Navy reservists and regular force in National Capital Region, Northern Luzon and Southern Luzon during emergency situations, while Exercise Pagsisikap is a Fleet-Marine amphibious exercise involving Sailors, Marines and Reservists from different PN Units. The purpose of the amphibious exercise are to develop an amphibious-capable force for range of operations, to develop capability to support and sustain the amphibious force ashore; and to develop capability for mobility and counter-mobility operations in support of amphibious operations. Enhancing capability through this exercise will enable the Fleet and Marine forces to assert more efficiency in the conduct of its mandated task. It also hopes to test and assess the tactical level communications between the PN assets, as well as to strengthen mutual relationship and interoperability of the participants.
