If HHI tells the (noob) Philippine government:  "Take it or leave it", what would you choose?

 #1 Take it? (accept the design and commence steel cutting despite the non-compliances)?

 #2 Leave it? (just cancel the frigate project as per Rep Alejano advice)?

They'd probably snub us and just offer it again to the Indonesians who has proven track record of closing deals like this.  Besides, why would the they sell us F-16's (new or refurbished) when we PAF does not even have the prerequisites to operated real MRF's.

And also, Duterte has mentioned the term "gunships" in several occasion.  Will this project be an acquisition of bonafide gunships or just "battle-taxi" as usual?

I've been a Timawa member since 2009.  I miss the oldtime members in Timawa i.e. horge, sbhnter, Anak_ni_sarge, pearl21, Failure Analysis, Gen. Martir (i forgot his Timawa name) as well as the other old farts and their "fencing matches" which were equally entertaining and educational.

Timawa has sparked my interest in anything related to military/defense. And most importantly has taught me the importance of verifying any piece of information before sharing it to others.
